HARVARD FACULTY LECTURE: Xenia Dormandy, Kennedy School of Government
"Understanding India and Pakistan -- Harvard Kennedy School's Role in the Policy Process"

Ms. Dormandy will discuss the workings of KSG, the Belfer and other Research Centers within the Harvard Univ. context. She will then describe her own work in South Asia studies with particular attention to India and Pakistan. Dormandy was part of an international team of monitors in Pakistan's February election.

The Belfer Center integrates research, teaching, and training at the intersection of international security, environmental and resource policies, science, and technology. Xenia Dormandy is the Director of the Center's Project on India and the Subcontinent and a member of the Center's Board. She has an extensive background in foreign affairs and security issues. She is a graduate of the KSG and of Oxford Univ.

Place: member's home in SE Denver. Light refreshments will be served.

Reservations necessary: RMHUC members and their guests -- $15 in advance, $20 at the door. Non-members of RMHUC -- $20 in advance, $25 at the door.
